Hope Holder M.M.Born and raised in Utah, Hope Holder has had the privilege of studying with many internationally renowned teachers including Dr. Marjorie Janove and
Dr. Susan Duehlmeier. Hope has been admired for her performances and
received recognition and awards in competitions such as the
Arlette Day Piano Competition, the Utah Symphony Guild, and the
Kawai American Piano Competition.While working to complete her Bachelors in Piano Performance at USU, Hope was on the staff of the Youth Conservatory and performed as the symphony pianist during the ‘92 and ‘93 Spring Seasons. She was awarded a Teaching Assistantship while working on her master’s degree at the University of Utah, and served as an assistant to Dr. Duehlmeier in conjunction with the U of U Music Circle. Hope completed her Masters in Piano Performance graduating as a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and was awarded one of two prizes for Outstanding Student Teacher of the Year in the state of Utah.A revered private teacher of over 40 years, Hope’s students have
received recognition as outstanding performers in many competitions
and festivals. She has watched with pride as her students have given solo
recitals, performed with symphonies, and gone on to earn piano degrees themselves. Hope taught as an adjunct faculty member for 15 years in the
Music Department at Westminster College, Utah.
